Nice property with great onsen located a little distance away from town. The shuttle buses operate till 9pm. Excellent breakfast. Be prepared as it can get very busy. Takayama is a pleasure to visit and provides insights into a earlier era. I think a bit off the beaten track.

My husband chose the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. The experience was out of this world. The building is old world, the room was so spacious, and the view was magnificent. We were given a large room on 17th top floor with views across the town and mountains.

Highly recommend this hotel lovely spot with views the onsen was amazing and the best rooms we had in Japan large and comfy. Only ate at the cafe so didn’t try the restaurants as the food was great in town. The free shuttle to town was a bonus.

We were given a room on the top floor, 17th floor with a breathtaking view of the Town and mountains. The room was so spacious. We could not stop taking in the view. The outdoor spa facilities were free and simply amazing.

Onsen was wonderful, there are many kinds with a great view. Also the bed was very comfy. Staffs are very kind and prepare anything as much as they can. Also there are so huge choices in breakfast. Amazing!
